I need to add a few things in here for legal purposes.

First of all, I occasionally get commission for products you purchase through links on this site. However, all the opinions on here are my own. Meaning, if I tell you I think a mascara is amazing, I really think the mascara is amazing. Free products, discounts, and commissions do not influence my opinion. I may just have a link (for example, a kitchen tool on Amazon) and I won't state an opinion at all. If there's no opinion in the post, there's no opinion. If you have questions, feel free to ask.

Secondly, I never recommend a product I haven't used, unless I specifically say so. For example, I may say, "This new lipstick from Stila looks awesome! I haven't used it yet, but I'm guessing it's amazing." That sounds exactly like something it would say or write. But you see how I make it clear that I haven't used it yet? Similarly, I may be using my mom's old muffin tin to bake muffins. I can't link to mom's old muffin tin. But I can link to something similar that I have never used. And in that case, I will say so. Basically, I'm not going to lie and tell you that I used something if I haven't or that I liked something if I didn't.

Thirdly, if you are reading this because your intent is to request a review and/or recommendation, please note the above. If I don't have the product, I can't review or recommend. Also, once you ask me to do the recommendation, whatever I write is up to me. I typically won't post something negative. If I really don't like your product, I'll let you know. As far as the review, I'll either say something neutral or we can agree that perhaps I shouldn't post the review at all. However, if you try to influence what I write about your product, I will most certainly write about that. Don't do that.

Finally, I am also 100% responsible for all the opinions on this blog, with the exception of comments left by others. If you see any content that you find offensive or insensitive, I ask that you contact me at starlight@adayinthelifestyle.com and let me know so I can address the issue. Should I offend anyone in any way, know that it is completely unintentional. Any comments left here are the property of the authors. I do not take responsibility for them and do not make a usual practice of editing them. However, while I don't make a usual practice of editing, I reserve the right to approve only comments that I find further the message and intent of this blog. If you write some messed up nonsense, I'm not approving your comment. So just don't.

Basically, this space belongs to me and my readers. And as anyone who knows me will tell you, I like my spaces clean, pretty, and welcoming. ❤️
