Book Review: If the Shoe Fits by Julie Murphy

First, the drink: This is a Tropical Cider from Beak & Skiff. Super good and it helps me feel like I'm becoming a real New Yorker.

And the book:

Meant to Be: If the Shoe Fits by Julie Murphy

Cindy, a recent fashion and design grad, has just returned home to sunny California to nanny her siblings for the summer when she stumbles upon an interesting opportunity.  Her step-mother, a big-time reality television producer, is in the process of casting her new Bachelor-ish reality show.  Normally, Cindy wouldn’t want anything to do with nonsense like that, but this time?  She decides to step out of her comfort zone and into some super cute shoes.

The book was an adorable quick read.  I’m learning that I’m not big on cutesy, cheesy romance novels, but this was fun.  Cindy is a really likable character and I really enjoyed the way this family interacted.  Overall, this was a sweet little pick-me-up.

If you like cheesy romance novels and never miss an episode of the Bachelor (or any of its spinoffs), this one is definitely for you.  Throw it in your beach bag and enjoy.

Publication date of August 3, 2021, so you should be able to grab a copy soon.

Thanks to Julie Murphy, Disney Publishing Worldwide, and Netgalley for this ARC in return for my honest review.
