Hot Buttered Rum
Ingredients:
- 2/3 c. brown sugar
- 1 stick unsalted butter, room temp
- 1/4 c. honey
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
- 3/4 c. spiced rum (I used Captain Morgan)
- 2 c. boiling water
- In a medium bowl, mix the brown sugar, butter, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves until well blended.
- Slowly whisk in the rum and boiling water.
- Stir until the mixture is smooth and all the butter is dissolved.
- Ladle into mugs.
This makes about four servings. To be cute, throw in a cinnamon stick for garnish (I forgot).
