The Best Instant Pot Mashed Potatoes Ever
Why, yes, this is the same picture as I used for Our Favorite Meatloaf. Because they go together.
Ingredients:
- 12 potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. black pepper
After peeling and slicing potatoes, place in instant pot. Add just enough water to cover potatoes.
Place the lid on the instant pot, set valve to seal, and cook on manual for eight minutes. When finished, quick release. Then drain potatoes and return to the pot.
After returning to the pot, add remaining ingredients.
Mash until smooth (or use a hand mixer). Serve immediately.
