Crochet Face Scrubbies

DIY

I made these crocheted face scrubbies to use as part of my skincare routine.

Yarn: I used a soft cotton yarn from Sugar 'N Cream, but I would actually recommend checking out the selection at ImagiKnit Yarns if you are local. Karla's yarn is so much better.

When I initially started trying to make these, I tried to use someone else's pattern. And while it was a great pattern, for some reason, I just couldn't work it correctly, so I decided to make my own.

This is the first time I've tried to share a crochet pattern, so it's going to have some mistakes. Please feel free to provide corrections, as it will likely be pretty obvious what I'm trying to communicate if you have any crocheting experience. And if not, I would definitely check out this YouTube tutorial before giving this a try.

Hook: I used a 5mm/H hook, but I think a G would be fine, as well.

Instructions:

Row 1: Make a magic ring, sc 8 in the loop, sl st to close.

Row 2: Ch 1, sc 2 in each stitch all the way around (16 st), sl st to close.

Row 3: Ch 1, *sc 2 in first stitch, then sc 1 in next stitch*, repeating from * around (24 st), sl st to close.

Row 4: Ch 2, *dc in first two stitches, then 2 dc in third stitch*, repeating from * around (36 st), sl st to close.

Row 5: Ch 1, sc all the way around (36 st), sl st to close.

If any of that is unclear, my complete and total apologies! I will get better! In the meantime, feel free to reach out to me with any questions.
